This is Sebastian's back story. In it, many things about his character are explained, while others are still a question mark. I am waiting for the next book. I have read the series and enjoy it immensely. The series "Love, Lies, and Hocus Pocus" doesn't fill its pages with so many difficult names, events, and dates that it becomes hard to keep track. It's a good story, keep reading . . .
