Just a darn nice razor

I have been a Timeless Razor guy and just didn't think a Rex would fit into my razor collection. as time went by I bought a Rex Envoy & have to say its a darn nice razor it seems to me a bit on the aggressive side but very smooth. The only thing I wanted was a standard handle. XL is just to bulky for me. it's not better than a timeless but its a completely different feel. it's got no blade reveal on the top cap but doesn't come into play for me. top cap has the same outside radius of a Timeless razor bronze at 14mm & is at a .038 blade gap and the envoy runs at 14mm top cap & .025 blade gap (This is based on my measurements not the off the official numbers posted) at this price point your gonna have a generational keepsake either way

I started with shaving with Shave Nation in 2020 with a everyday razor Merkur 34C. This is my first upgrade and I absolutely love it! The Rex Envoy short size and weight is perfect for me. I now had the smoothest shave ever! This is a very sleek looking razor with the marine grade stainless steel. I really like there is no blade reveal on the cap and safety bar! Great Razor!
