Sphere Fish Tessellation Orb Desktop Paperweight or Miniature Statue by Escher

Purchased this as a novelty. I own a full-size replica and have held the original at a private showing in the Gemeente Museum in the Hague, Netherlands. This piece is not entirely accurate as it does not include Escher's initials and "1940".

The 3 inch Escher sphere with fish is even better than what I expected. The quality is excellent and the stand is perfectly understated. This replica actually looks like it came from a museum.
