My kids will grow up seeing these boots on me for years. Excellent build, sharply dresses up or down, and surprisingly comfortable. These are a do-everything heirloom. The only problem: now I want to buy a pair of the matching women's snip toes (ladies no4's) for my wife-to-be...

Chisos #5
Outstanding pair of boots, no break in time, I put them on right out of the box and worn them all day, I've worn boots my whole life and these have to be the most comfortable pair I own, and I've worn, tony lama, dan post, durango and even have a pair of becks cowboy boots and the chisos # 5 beat them all

Inner Soles Out .... Damn Comfortable Boots In
I had to wait awhile to get my boots to get 'Down Under'. Just perhaps the international shipping needs a review. But, I'm here to review boots not USPS. Okay, so I usually take a EE fit. Whilst I would have been a little more at ease with a boot that comes in the wider fit, I watched the Chisos videos, and went with the D as opposed to the next size up (maybe an option for a round or square toe). At first try-on they were tight in the toe box. I started to think these will take some wear in, but not really an option to be frank. I then removed the inner soles (which by the way are some of the best inner soles I've experienced, including aftermarket), and put in some thinner aftermarket inner soles. Wow, that made the difference. I've been a rusted on R. M. Williams wearer for years (its an Australian thing). However, recently I've been somewhat disappointed with the quality. As such, I started to look into alternatives where I came across Chisos reviews. Whilst the proof will be in the 'test of time', so far I am very impressed whilst the boot quality. Overall: quality, comfort, style. Bang!
