Good Product

I've been using the curl-specific shampoo and conditioner bars for about two years now, and I like them! Fair warning—if you're used to liquid shampoos and conditioners, these may take some getting used to. The shampoo bar gives a decent lather, and I pair it with a silicone scalp scrubber for a deeper clean. The conditioner bar can be somewhat difficult to determine whether it's working or not; I hold the ends of my hair in one hand and rub the conditioner bar on them with the other hand, and this typically takes longer than the shampoo bar. Eventually, you will feel the product transferring to your hair. After I get a good amount on my ends, I put down the conditioner bar and work the product in slightly more by hand. I personally leave the product in while I finish showering, then rinse it out right before washing my face. This gives the conditioner time to work and leaves my hair soft and curls bouncy! Again, if you're used to typical liquid shampoos and conditioners, these bars will take some getting used to. Now that I've adapted, I prefer the bars over liquid products. I've re-purchased a couple of times and will continue to do so!

Both shampoo and conditioner work well for my short, curly hair. I feel like I get as much life out of these as a plastic bottle, so long as I take them out to dry after each shower. The shampoo doesn’t need much time to lather.

Frizzy, wavy, curly - undecided hair behaves a lot better and has some shape and body to it. So much better than any regular bottled or salon approved shampoo. My 6 yo loves it too! One suggestion, i wish we could purchase them without the box.
