Beautiful Print and Quality
The rug print is exactly what I was looking for. I love the old farmhouse style prints and the print and manufactured quality met all my expectations. I bought a runner first for the area in front of my sink and it has held up well. I then decided to invest in a 2nd one to protect the area between the island and stove. The sizing on the runner would not fit for this area so I went with a 4'x6' rug and it fits perfectly. I purchased the upgraded cushioned pad for each. When on the floor, both rugs looks hefty yet when pulled up for washing, the runner squishes down to the size of a large bath towel and the 4'x6' squishes down to the size of a thick throw. I line dry and they dry quickly with a nice breeze. I've had the runner for a couple of years and it has held up thru many washings and the 4'x6' rug since Feb and, so far, it has held up well in this high traffic area. After washing, the colors are rejuvenated and both rugs look brand new in that faded way! I dropped one star because the cushioned pad constantly slides despite ensuring the floor and the bottom of the rug pad are clean and free of debris. I have engineered hardwood flooring. I was told the standard pad, which is very thin, slips less but the cushioned pad is my preferred because it feels much better underfoot and feels more like a rug. At this price point the cushioned pad should stay put regardless of thickness or flooring type. For this reason, I may not invest in any more 2-piece systems unless they fix the slipping issue of the cushioned pad.
