PerTronix 40611 Ignitor Epoxy Filled 40,000 Volt Ignition Coil with 3.0 Ohms Resistance in Black

It's a wonderful upgrade to the tractor (Super A). I dont understand why anyone would still be using points and condensor!

This one i put on my old 1950 Chevy as part of the 12v upgrade. The old tired 216 i6 has never idled smoother. These are very simple upgrades that are well worth doing. If hei is too ugly or expensive for you then go with one of these. It’s a very simple install. Don’t even need to remove the dizzy. If you buy a pertronix coil the stock coil mounts do not always work. You’ll need to find another one or do what I did and make one. I put these on most of my builds that don’t look right with a giant hei dizzy hanging off the engine. Most of the time I don’t even have to tweak the timing.

I began a total restoration on my 1976 TR6 7 yrs ago but after having 3 baby granddaughters dropped in my lap for daycare at the same time. At 70 yrs young i slowly lost interest in completing it tho it was 70% complete. Fortunately a bunch of club members took it on to finish it for me.
