This is the second coil i have bought for my 69 ranchero. It recently had its alternator upgraded to a modern 140amp one. I dont know if this had any bearing on the coil failing, but the orihinal flamethrower failed with less than 2000 miles on it. I would have expected it to last a lot longer than that. Not to happy i had to buy another one.

The whole conversion was simple to install. I do wish the spark plug ends had straight boots rather than the 90* boots. So far performance seems better.
