Works great. Upgraded to Pertronix II. Have used Pertronix on a few cars. Hopefully Pertronix II is idiotproof in case I leave the key on again. lol.

When I purchased my 1970 Mustang Mach 1 ten years ago, the 351 Cleveland already had the Per Tronix Igniter II conversion kit installed. I don’t know how long it was in the car before I bought it. It always ran great! Recently I noticed the engine wasn’t firing up as quickly and seemed to have an inconsistent idle. One day it just wouldn’t start. I had spark from the coil but no spark to the plugs. I installed a new Per Tronix II Igniter which was easy since the conversion had already been done. When I turned the key the old Mustang fired right up and idled great. The performance is great and I expect many more years of trouble free performance from this igniter just like the previous one.
