While box store hoses can work, they retain the curve memory from the roll. The hose is so, so much better than the look-a-likes.

I purchased this output hose and and used it to place some distance between the pot and the jar catching my shine. The hose is nice and thick and holds its form even under heat. I loved that it is a food grade material! My end product did not pick up any different taste which i also loved!
