90% of the book is waffle about random history.

I feel like to use up pages, the writer goes into way too much detail about irrelevant things. One advice he gives is to not tell people what to do but to tell them the benefit of doing it to convince them. He would then use about 7 examples, after reading 1 you get the point. These books could have 25% the number of pages and get all the points across just as clearly.
