Hook is sharp… but size 16 520 series did not share the same construction patrern as the size 18 & 20 520 series. The size 18 & 20 were more of a wide gap set-up while the size was completly straight and narrow-gap. I would not recommend size 16 in the 520 series to anyone creating euro-nymph or perdigon style flies. Very misleading & disappointing.
