This is a fantastic device. For astrophotography there is no play like you can sometimes get with thumb screws. Also, it has a very firm and secure grip which gives me much more confidence when attaching expensive equipment to the telescope.

Solidly build, generally. rubber grip has lifted up on twisting on a couple of occasions. More importantly, occasionally locks in place and simply refuses to unlock, no matter how much force. I've had to pry out the M54 field flattener on more than one occasion. I would probably buy it again, though imo not as easy to use or hassle-free as advertised by Baader
