A great upgrade to the standard SCT-type 'Visual Back' on many telescopes.
Baader developed and produced this popular coupling-device for the "visual back" - which has excellent strength for securing accessories. It has no issue with locking down on some of the heavier Diagonals and Eyepieces, with my own combination being over 1.6kg in additional weight. The convenience of being able to quickly rotate accessories is why I purchased the Baader Clicklock and yet it's small enough and rigid enough to leave on the telescope OTA at all times, including when travelling. The grip of this device centers optics more accurately than typical retaining-screws and there's no risk of marking your accessories due to the (apparently) friction-less clamp-method it employs. The device comes with a dust guard and is ready to mount to any SCT thread. * Pictured here on the 2" rear cell of a Sky-Watcher SkyMax 180 Maksutov Cassegrain telescope.

Perfect upgrade to standard SCT visual back
The Baader 2" clicklock for 2" SC solves the issue of having to unscrew and rotate your SCT visual back every time you want to reposition your diagonal and eyepiece. This is especially handy on an equatorial mount where navigating to new objects often puts your eyepiece in awkward angles. The Baader clicklock allows you to unlock and rotate your diagonal and re-lock it with just a small twist of the rubber grip ring. Pictured here fitted to a Celestron C6 6" SCT on AVX equatorial mount.
