Worth the expense

I got 4 packages, which is enough to last a year. It's hard to find this product locally and Amazon no longer carries it, so I'm pleased with my purchase. I noticed that the delivery charge was more than the product itself. However, the delivery time was reasonable and I'd probably buy again next year.

Family tradition

I have ordered Tarhonya from Parthenon for the last several years. My late husband's family on his mother's side are Hungarian. There used to be a Hungarian grocery store in South Bend, IN, where we are from originally, but when that closed, there was nowhere local to find these tiny noodles. I found them on Parthenon's website, and have ordered them for us and each of our adult children for Christmas every year. Now that my husband has passed, I also order enough too send a package of tarhonya tot each oof his siblings as well. My mother-in-law showed me how to prepare the traditional dish many years ago, and my whole family loves it, so now it's a family tradition that everyone savors.
