We use the matting to cover our kayak & SUP lift because the metal lattice is ferocious on the feet and equipment. It doesn’t retain heat, it drains well, it’s heavy enough to stay in place during our 40-50 knot winds, it doesn’t fade (at least not yet) and it looks great and is comfortable.
