Too wide for my 6 yr old's head

The goggles won't seal, even after taking the loops out to make it smaller. It fits my 9 yr old perfectly but does not fit my 6 yr old.

My son has been taking swim lessons and he was so afraid to put his face in the water because of the water getting in his eyes. He loved these. He was able to go under the water with complete confidence.
