This instructional goes over how to get out of leg entanglements in various unique ways. At the beginning they show basic heelhook defense, but it mostly goes over how to get out of leg entanglements and put your opponents in bad positions. They go over the outside ashi, 50/50 and kani basami, which they call Z-guard. Many of these counters I haven't seen before on instructional, but you can see most of them in the Ruotolos' matches. Very innovative

These young guys are continuing to take jiu jitsu technique to another level! This is not my favorite escape instructional yet but I’ll spend more time with it for sure.
