Philodendron Brasil

Get the plant elsewhere, it'll be less $ and probably arrive in better shape. Packaging from Lively Root is not good. I've received two plants with their packaging (one from Hey Rooted) and in both cases the poor plant was uprooted and tumbling around loose in the box. They don't wrap the pot in plastic or otherwise properly/sufficiently secure the plant and dirt in the pot, so I've also have to add potting soil when I get them. This poor philodendron was very thirsty and looking a bit worse for wear because of it. The plant itself was decent size with lots of areas where it was trying to put on new growth though it's hard to tell even a week later if those spots are still viable or not. I think it will survive, but it was not in perfect shape upon arrival so it has some recovery to do. Pictures are from directly after arrival. It perked up after watering.

It arrived healthy and strong. I am hopeful I can keep it that way and that it thrives. I’m look forward to the stages of growth.
