Malabrigo Yarn | Caprino (Merino/Cashmere)

I love this shop and have ordered plenty of yarn online from and it's always lovely and comes in a timely manner. I've never ordered Malabrigo yarn before from anywhere and everyone praises it's softness but also mentions the color dye dilemma, but I decided to try it anyway. And now I'm disappointed. It's hard I'm sure for retailers to do each color way justice because there's so much variation in each dye lot which sucks because the pictures are what drew me in to that particular color scheme. I ordered Indicieta and I don't like this dye lot. It's more green heavy and all shades of green I wasnt expecting and hoping for. I really wanted more purple, blue and green mix like the photo.. so now I have to decide if I wanna keep or send back, but I really am just sad that it's always a gamble with Malabrigo. I get its hand dyed, but there has to be some formula... right? 3 stars for quality though, it does feel really soft.
