The table is beautiful but it was made with the hardware not aligned so the top is not able to be safely fastened to the base. We were refunded the shipping cost which was a nice gesture as we will now need to hire someone to create something on the table to secure the very heavy slate top. We were offered to remove this table and ship another, we didn’t feel that another 1-2 month wait or getting rid of this table and shipping back was financially prudent for Magnolia. We were hoping that magnolia would be able to send someone to fix it. This table weighs around 200 lbs so it’s not easy to move and transfer. Most of all...We were so disappointed that this most important safety detail wasn’t assessed prior to shipping. We love the table but while we wait to have it fixed the top shifts slightly and for about 900-1000 dollars for a coffee table, we are reminded that when someone doesn’t pay attention to details the final product is always less than it should have been. We understand that life isn’t perfect and mistakes happen. We will probably never order furniture on line as quality is important to us

We love this coffee table. The slate is extremely heavy, so it took more than one person to put together. Only wish it wasn’t made in China.
