My Charly (LSC) loves vegetables. From a Texas Natural sample pack I learned she likes beets. While I strive to feed her only fresh foods, fresh beets are too messy for me. Texas Natural Freeze-dried beets are just what I need. The beets are easy to handle and portion out. I prefer the chunk style of freeze-dried foods in general and beets in particular, but the flat pieces are fine too. I break up the beets into small pieces and sprinkle it over her pellets (which are the base of her daily feeding). There's no beet-stained hands, no beet-stained clothes and no beet-stained bird.

My Too loves these beets and it's a great way to get the red veggies in his diet! So healthy in small amounts!
