“ORA Salmon… Because ‘Fish’ Doesn’t Properly Describe This Level of Addiction”
Absolute restaurant-quality salmon at home. We paired this beautiful cut with a crisp wedge salad loaded with chunky blue cheese dressing, bacon crumbles, fresh tomato, and a side of Argentine shrimp — and it honestly felt like a high-end steakhouse dinner without the steakhouse price tag.
Cooked on a 36” Blackstone at a steady 350°, this salmon performed flawlessly. Light seasoning, lid down for a few minutes, one clean flip, then finished to a perfect 130° internal temp before resting. The result? Crispy edged exterior, buttery flaky center, and rich clean flavor that didn’t need anything extra to shine.
The Argentine shrimp beside it soaked up the griddle flavor beautifully, but the salmon absolutely stole the show. This is the kind of meal that makes people stop scrolling, ask what restaurant it came from, and then get shocked when you say it came off your backyard griddle.
If you know how to control heat and trust your thermometer, this cut rewards you BIG. Easily one of the best Blackstone cooks we’ve done this year. 🔥🐟🥗
