Swarovski NL Pure 8x42 Binocular

NL Pure 8x42

This is my 2nd pair of 8x42 NL Pures bought for my wife/son. I have had mine for 3 years. They are amazing glass with a huge FOV and great edge to edge clarity. Upgraded from some old top of the line Ziess from 20 years ago to the Swarovski SLCs 10x42. The switch to 8x42 NLs gives you a good 15-30mins of glassing in the morning and night. The design fits great in your hand. I carry an ATX spotting scope so the magnification doesn’t matter much to me although I would say I spot as much if not more with the 8s as my hunting partners with the 10s. I do have clear 20/20 vision and with the new glass I find the 8s are better for my eyes. The Ziess color is more natural, Swarovski has a less natural color IMO. The only con is they are expensive and only worth it if you have the money and need those extra minutes at morning and night.

As good as it gets

I have the 8x42 NL pure. I have paired my optical system with the 95 mm ATX. Putting these on a tripod is literally a sight to behold! I pick up more game, my eyes do not have to strain to see and I have zero headaches when I’m glassing for hours!
