Handcrafted Thor's Hammer Mjolnir from Mammen Village Small Bronze Pendant

I got the copy of the Danish, Mammen, find. It’s beautifully made and a perfect size for me, guy 5’9, who lived in Sweden for many years and fell in love with the nordic cultures. It comes in a awesome little box with some info, a letter with a wax-stamp, and more. It feels super special to wear and has a good weight to it. Now I’m just waiting for the bronze to patina a bit but that may take a while. It’s just what I expected at a good price. This is my favorite piece of yours. Your designs are wonderful, but this one, based on an original has a presence not to be described. Metaphorically, then, it feels like an artisan at ease, without strain, and so sunken into this moment in time and culture that he hardly notices them at all. Your other designs have me feeling the emotional work needed to reach into the sensibility of the past. You succeed, but simply not with the carefree feeling of this little gem. Only one personal drawback, your cord is long enough (18”) to fit any reasonable size of human neck. However, over the years I’ve developed an outrageous 22” neck. That you don’t have anything in stock to fit me isn’t a drawback to at least 90% of your customers, I’m sure, and I don’t fault you for it. But it will take some time for me to replace it since hole in the piece is so small. However, be well, and thank you for being available. I’ve wanted bronze jewelry for decades and modern jewelers simply don’t work in it. And your variety of items is amazing.
