Lightweight bag to carry an additional water bottle

Great bag, was looking for something to hold an extra water bottle, it hasn’t come loose yet and went over some pretty rough trails, it doesn’t feel that tight so was surprised. Bag is light and just what I need. I don’t like the straps at the bottom, they need a way to cinch those up, so it stays out of the way, the only way to put it away is stuffing it into these hidden holes but it falls out from time to time.

The elastic band does NOT work, at all! The strap does not hold it's placement and I needed to tie a not in the strap in order to get down the mountain safely. Absolutely the worst hip pack I've ever used.
