Wuliangshan Moonlight Organic White Tea Cake - Spring 2025

What a complex tea. Aroma is delectably sweet like candy. Like sweet potatoes and honey. Liquor is crystal clear and deep yellow. Thick and milky mouthfeel. Clings to the tongue. First notes of hay, followed by hint of fruity sweetness, like apricot. Evolves into notes of caramel, light molasses, and melon. Ends with sweet floral notes. Very delicious. I expect this one to age very nicely. I'll very soon buy another cake scrictly to age for a few years.

I always ask Niraj for things to try... he steered me to this on my last visit, and I ended up taking a bit home. It manages to have body without any grassiness or tannic edge... just enormously smooth and satisfying.
