Kaia Chiffon Dress - Emerald

Beautiful dress but don’t trust the size chart

I loved the dress, felt comfortable and received a lot of compliments. The emerald color is beautiful I played it safe and went off the provided size chart. I followed it to a T and it put me at a XXL. I thought that was weird but knowing I have a great seamstress, I opted to play it safe. When it arrived, it was HUGE. I probably could have gotten away with a M or L. It cost me the price of the dress to alter it, which was beyond frustrating.

This dress is so pretty but it’s really so long. I have to get about 5 inches taken off and it’s costly since there’s 3 layers in the dress. I understand the extra length is for taller women but it would be nice if we could have a short version and a tall version. But very pretty flowy dress. Having adjustable straps is very helpful as someone with a larger bust but the neckline still can be a lot if you worry about showing too much
