Soft and comfortable, run large

Soft and comfortable with a high quality finish. I’m not 100% sold on the zipper pockets - they don’t add much value for a pant like this and although the zip is a soft fine one they do detract from the comfort factor a tiny bit. I’m average height/slim 178cm/75kg and would normally wear a medium in any men’s pant. In these, a small would have been a better fit. I’m keeping the medium because they’re *just* wearable with a tight drawstring and I can’t be bothered with international returns.

These fell apart within two months

Service and postage was good, but numerous holes appeared within a couple of months and this is from wearing inside only. Two emails to the company over two weeks have gone unanswered which is puzzling. I own a lot of excellent merino products from other NZ businesses but this is an example of a bad product and experience. Quality and customer service from this business is unacceptable I'm afraid. Stay away.

I finally stopped searching, these are it

I ordered these after getting frustrated with sweatpants that are too thin and cold or too bulky and warm. I wear sweatpants around the house after work and in the mornings most days. It can get cold in my area (10F, -12C). We keep the house in the 60s (18C) in the winter and my basement is chilly year round. These sweatpants are magical. Lightweight, yet warm enough to lounge around the house in. These were the highest gsm in 100% merino that I could find. So comfortable and soft they really are the perfect sweat pant. I have worn these basically every day since I got them a few months ago. Love the zippered pocket option and the cut is perfect. If I need to run a couple errands I don't have to change pants like I did with my bulky sweats. I got a medium and I usually wear medium. I was initially unsure as they seemed a little long and baggy. I have a 30in inseam and was afraid I'd have to hem them. After the first wash everything snugged up and was perfect. I will order these again and again. Stop searching for the perfect sweatpants. It's right here.
