Adorable but a bit sharp

I purchased a bunch of these for Christmas gifts and they are adorable and were well received. However, the corners are very sharp and I have found that they occasionally have torn a book page (especially with thin pages like a Bible) with the corner if you do not place it carefully in the binding. The other drawback is that they are quite slippery and often fall out of my book. If the corners and edges could be rounded a little more, and if the fringe was maybe a little thicker to keep the bookmark in place I think they would be perfect. They are beautiful and thoughtful gifts so I would still purchase again.
