Easy to install and does what it’s supposed to. Setting up the app takes some time and effort, but it works.

Worked great on a BHI brand (aka AUX brand, sold SOS at Lowe’s) 19 SEER 12k unit, which appeared to be identical to the Pioneer WYT. They’re all just re-branded TCL units, but the WYT/BHI in particular were tricky because they’re not made by Midea, so was glad to find this WiFi module available.

Works great and give far more control of unit than the remote it comes with!

Was easy to install and connect to wifi (you must use 2.4ghz wifi - if your network is combined you must log into router and either disable 5ghz while you set it up or make a new 2.l4ghz network with your router). Once the app is setup it works great, it even works with 'smart life' app instead of the Pioneer app. The app provides a lot more control than the remote it comes with, for instance, you can set the air diffuser to far more control patterns like 'mostly right' and 'mostly left' easily with one touch.
