R1280T Powered Bookshelf Speakers (Certified Refurbished)

It sounds great 9/10 times! It sometimes sounds very staticy during some quieter parts of songs which is pretty annoying. But for the most part it's great. Definitely an upgrade from my built in speaker in my old turntable.

I tend to listen to high end gear for serious listening.... krell, audio research, magneplanar, Linn... I picked up a WiiM streamer as a digital streaming solution and decided to use some of their nodes in a whole house approach. This is where the Edifier product excels for me... a powered speaker connected to a WiiM node for a household solution... the speakers are well made... nice tonal balance, clean without fatigue, and plenty of volume without falling apart... I'm sure as a primary listening system some will want to add a sub... a real value

one speaker came damaged and one worked perfectly , support was SO helpful and have already sent me a replacement. they responded very quickly and made to to help fix the problem. great company would buy from again
