I originally had rear sequential lights and didn't need these. But when I added side markers I got hyper flashing. I bought the clear ones. The only issue was that on the page for the clear ones it doesn't mention you need this. It does on the rear sequential but I got those earlier and it said if you have any other leds you need these. At the time I didn't have any additional leds so I didn't order these. I think the page for the clear side sequential should mention this like the rear sequential pages does. BTW customer support was excellent. Very quick to respond and get me sorted out. I love these a great buy
