When my gutter guys wanted to put a downspout in front of a gorgeous 1913 diamond-paned window I put my foot down. Since ignoring the flood of water pouring out the top of the gutters wasn't an option I began seeking out alternatives. I discovered rain chains and this black Kenchiku rain chain was perfect for the cottage. Beefier and infinitely better quality than alternatives on that "South American River" website, it is purposeful and moves the water efficiently. It arrived just when I needed it and I couldn't be happier. Now something I dreaded has become something I adore and a focal point of the garden.
