When my delivery arrived, wrapped in a fully compostable package, I could not contain my excitement. I unwrapped everything with the exuberance of a kid on Christmas morning. I took them out, slipping them on and praying they would fit as I hoped they would. Perfect. 🤩 It was as though 50-something me was instantly transported back in time to my first experience seeing Brian Setzer. These shoes instantly gave me an aura of cool. They are comfortable. Solid make and materials. Most of all, the first time I wore them out in public, I could see eyes immediately looking at them and then smiles. Success! As a guy of a certain age I could get a sports car, or a motorcycle, dye my hair or any number of things to feel at par with my internal age. I got shoes. I’ll inevitably get more. I think I finally found the catalyst to secure my artist’s soul and style.
