Baby Snap Suit

I really love the final product. How ever I found the biding instructions unclear. I could only guess a raw edge is left inside the garment. I watched all the videos provided and was still unclear how to finish that inside edge. I consider myself a very experienced sewist, and was able to finish it to my liking.

Loved the look especially when using Jersey (see yellow snap suit). I probably need to learn how to use rib better, but with rib I had a hard time keeping the binding smooth (see turquoise snap suit). The instructions were clear and the sew fast and easy. I would say that the reinforcement for the snap in the front (the one with the square) needs to be increased. My husband tore the fabric with its first use! But will keep making it for sure! I'm looking forward to actually trying it on our expected baby!

I'm definitely more comfortable sewing wovens, but this knit pattern was an absolute breeze to sew, looks great, and comes together nicely. My partner was hesitant for me to make baby clothes but is a big fan of this design; with snap closures allowing for full opening making changing a breeze. I've now full endorsement from my partner to make more!
