SIMPLESWATCH™ 8.5" x 11" Removeable Paintable Material for Color Sampling, 3 pack

I bought 2 pkgs with the idea that I could cut them into smaller sizes, or leave some large. I had purchased some balsam wood blanks 6" x 8" x 1/4", and painted those and thumb tacked them to my wall. The peel and stick blanks have a slight texture that is easy to paint. I always do two coats so that's how I painted it. Sticking it onto the wall made me realize that the wood blanks were nice but they weren't ON the wall. They were over it. The peel and stick looks like I painted that part of the wall. The sticker also showed me why peel and stick wallpaper isn't recommended for textured walls. Though I imagine a darker palette with a large scale design you wouldn't notice the bumpy texture.
