Display Case for LEGO® Ideas: Tree House (21318)

Dissatisfied and frustrated

This is a copy of an email I sent to Wicked Brick on 6/24/2026 which they did not respond to or acknowledged: The display cases for the Tree House and for Starry Night that I ordered are set up. The Starry Night picture and the case look wonderful together, fit like a glove, and I love the way they compliment each other, as if they were made for each other! Unfortunately, I cannot say the same thing about the Tree House case. Beside the fact that one base corner was chipped (came off with the protective cover), and there are glue stains along the outer wedges on 2 different sides of the base, the case is way too big for the Tree. Instead of seeing the beauty of the Lego piece, I only see the tremendous size of the case. It does not fit on the console the Tree piece was originally placed on, it's just a half an inch shorter than the width of another console I placed it on now, it's just TOO big. I now have to look for a special pedestal that can accommodate the size of the display case and will not overwhelm the room. I assumed the Tree House display case is custom made to order, and was specifically built to the Tree's measurements, just like the one for Starry Night, just like your site advertises. But I found out that the case is one of your standard cases after I emailed you looking for the instructions to build it. If that is the case, why wait over 10 weeks to receive the product if it is not custom made to order, if it's one of the standard cases that accommodates most of your orders...shouldn't you have plenty of those cases already in stock? I'm very dissatisfied and unhappy with the Tree case. I believed that every case was created to and specifically for the particular Lego piece, so says your site, and that is not true. The question is what can be done to address this problem and find a workable solution? Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. An add-on comment to the email I sent Wicked Brick - I cannot find a pedestal big enough to accommodate the size of the display case. I will not keep the Tree House in the case. Unless Wicked Brick comes up with a solution, I'm out of more than $150 and very disappointed with their customer service team!

They did a great job with the packing and everything looks great! I don't have the room right now to put up the displays, so I'm gonna leave them in the box. Can't wait to display all my Lego sets! I'm very pleased and will definitely buy more displays in the future.
