FixIts | Pack of 3 sticks

Brilliant!

I bought a pack of three as I wasn’t sure how I’d get on with them. Once they arrived I started mending things that have been causing issue for years - including the pulley on a roller blind which I haven’t previously been able to successfully repair or replace. I was so impressed I got my dad the tin. I do find heating with a hairdryer preferable to the water method personally.

Great so far.

I have only used a fairly small piece up to now, to mould a 'foot' for the food mixer; the other one had come off. It hasn't been on very long, but is still in situ and I'm very pleased with it. Next projects are: mending 2 fridge drawers, replacing part of the rim to a Tupperware container. Can't wait to see how it copes!

I had used Sugru in the past and didn't know what time expect from Fixits, but I was well-pleased! My Aftershox bone- conducting headphones has snapped and I had tried tape and wire without success. I only needed a small amount of fixits to bond the two pieces together and I was thrilled that it set totally solid. I discovered that I'd covered the charging port, so I used the hairdryer to soften the fixit and was able to remould my repair. No that prettiest repair - but my first time doing it. The headphones are totally functional again - I'm well-pleased!
