We got the actual vibration plate from an auction site - so used/open(wrong lol) box - and it did not have the remote with it. So pirchased this direct from the Lifepro site. We got it, put in the batteries, and it worked immediately. No need to sync it or anything. And it is SO MUCH NICER to have a remote for the plate now.
