upgrading to shaving soap

My first time using shaving soap is still in the experimental stage. So far the shave is smooth. Still trying to get the lather water ratio to my liking. The clubman after shave though is nice. Earthy, just like you would want to smell after a refreshing shave. But the brush is ok, even though its synthetic. Feels good when applying lather. Soon I will upgrade to a nice badger brush. Just considering my options slowly. Overall a very nice inexpensive Kit for the money.,
