Saved My Water Cap Assembly

The top of my vent cap got broken off. This well thought out Vent Cap allowed me to inexpensivly repair the Water Cap. It was initially a very tight fit and I could only get a turn or so into the existing threads. A 5/8 box wrench fit the cap exactly and by working the cap back and forth the plastic cap wore down to a perfect fit which allows opening and closing the vent by hand now. I had to blow out ihe inner channel to clear the fine plastic debri. Couldn't be happier with the results and I saved the cost of replacing the whole lid. I now have a fully functional water jug. Thank you!
