Great Plant Not So Great Customer Service
My cousin just moved into her own house and I wanted to send her a plant as a housewarming gift. I've purchased plants from you before and they were always wonderful. I found the Philodendron, went through the purchasing process and realized as soon as I hit "Place Order" I had used my own shipping address and not my cousins. I IMMEDIATELY sent an email asking you to correct the name and address for shipping and I NEVER HEARD FROM YOU. Okay, I understand emails aren't always immediately read but to never hear from you at all about my situation is unacceptable. Someone must have read my email. Or is your customer service so lacking that emails from customers don't matter. It's a beautiful plant and yes, it was my mistake but never to get any acknowledgement of my email asking to help is just wrong.

Mixed Emotions
I received my plant and couldn't wait to get it out of the box because I had wanted this plant for so long. The plant was huge and beautiful but after opening the well secured and protected plant I could see it had a long hard trip with leaves broken and bent and the huge beautiful plant got to be a little skimpy. Now here is where the ending of the story turned from a nightmare to a fairytale ending. Customer Service was so awesome, overwhelming, understanding and courteous. All PDS wanted to do was to make me happy until it had me with tears in my eyes. PDS offered to send another plant or make a refund. Unfortunately. I was afraid it would happen again because of the long trip so I asked for a refund and received it before I could bat an eye. I still want the plant and I didn't think about asking if quicker delivery could be an option. I need to find out because they have some in stock. Lickety Split….. unsure
I had high hopes upon receiving my full and beautiful plant. It was boxed nicely and large and full. I placed it on my kitchen counter where it would receive some indirect light. The next day 4 of the large stems were drooping and then died. The following day 3 small and 2 more large leaves died. I then watered it just a bit and moved it to a more lit area. I’m hoping it survives as I paid more than I usually spend on a plant due to its size and that I’d never seen this species of plant. Any ideas/advice is appreciated. Picture is from today ( after losing leaves).
