A Necessity For Any Re-enactor to Have.

I keep this in my fold-top desk purchased from Samson Historical, but also take it with me in my "possibles Bag" when re-enactment camps are held. I have period eyeglasses for the mid 18th century that are not bifocals, so, unless I have a second set of eyeglasses for reading, I need a small magnifying glass to see small print and this item fits the bill, and saves me time. It is not only beautiful to look at, but fully functional. My only regret is that it doesn't come with its own cover or case to protect the glass. I use a small piece of neckerchief when I put it in my haversack. It is well-worth the money paid and I highly recommend it.
