Resin Silicone Mold

Not as I expected

I really like that they are white. I have used other molds That were a dark color but were thicker than these. Consequently, the face of the piece would come out wavy causing me to have to put on a second layer. I would like to get thicker molds that would hold their shape better. Also, I use alcohol ink in the resin and the molds stained.

I used these Resin Silicone Molds for a class I taught in making Resin coasters. Fantastic results! I like the fact that I can reuse these molds because the silicone has a substantial thickness. BTW … I have four of these!

great but

I have a few of these molds & they do have imperfections - I've opened one mold and all 3 spaces have scratches that you only know about after your resin has been popped out. without having the tools, space or money to sand down/pour resin over top of every single petri. I would still say that yes, for the price the molds are usable and somewhat disposable. other molds out there are way more expensive than this (maybe better quality) so keep that in mind. now I'm back to place my 4th order!
