I love almost everything about this notebook. The construction is great & the paper is wonderful, with both rollerball & my fountain pens. The only way they could improve this & oh I wish they would, is to have this in a graph ruling rather than the dot grid, then it would be perfect.

Fountain Pen Issue

I purchased 3 Executive Notebooks. From the description and reviews, I thought this is what I need for my notetaking. The look and feel are extremely luxurious. You can notice right away the craftsmanship is of high quality. Writing with my fountain pen feels amazing. The issue I have, and it is somewhat of a big one, is ink can bleed onto the next page. I use a Mont Blanc fountain pen with their branded ink. The bleed appears to be in areas where on the previous page, I may have held the nib too long in one area. This shouldn't happen given the cost of this notebook. My old Rhodia A5 notebooks are cheaper and there is no bleeding of ink onto the next page. Not sure if Ink+Volt will read my review but I hope the attached pictures can explain better what big issue is with this Executive Notebook.

Great Notebook

I buy a lot of notebooks (e.g., Moleskin, Leuchtturm1917), and this is probably my favorite I've bought. Paper quality is very nice and I like the oversized pages in comparison to a general notebook. This is great for work. If I have any reservation it's that it feels a bit less fit-for-purpose in comparison to other ink+volt products where there is a clear design philosophy that differentiates it from other things on the market. This is ultimately just a plain notebook like any other. A great notebook in terms of quality, but just a notebook in terms of design.
