Real Photography for me is B&W
When I was young, and wanted to make photos, I could not afford the cost of color film and processing. So I bought B&W film and processed it myself. . I learned to love the interplay of tonalities and the translation of the full spectrum world into the Important Things of shape and shadow. Having B&W film available for my Polaroid cameras extends their use once more and brings me back home again, with every exposure I make.

I love the older look of this film. I took it on a trip to Japan and really enjoyed having these little black and white Polaroid memories. As a professional photographer it’s fun sometimes to have less control and decisions to make. I like seeing some of the imperfections in the shots.
