Practical Design

It’s a practical design that perfectly serves its purpose. I purchased the four-gallon rotopax with one Lox Pack Mount, and one Deluxe Pack Mount. I had no issues mounting the rotopax to my upTOP mid-height truss bed rack. I was particularly pleased that the Lox Pack Mount locking mechanism is easily removable from the mount when not needed (like on the trail). The Lox Pack Mount will work exactly the same as any other rotopax mount without the locking mechanism left in it. The rotopax container itself is sturdy, and secures perfectly to my rack without any annoying rattling (full or empty). If I choose, I can purchase the rotopax mount extensions and double stack another four gallon rotopax to the existing mount. Overall, it serves its purpose perfectly. If I had to think of one thing that I don’t like - it would be the limited color selection rotopax offers. But that would be scratching the bottom of the barrel looking for a critique of this product.

It was very useful when I needed it. I might just have to get the smaller 1 gallon bad boys as well!! But for the big BDR trip! Very helpful!!
