A quick guide on whether this throttle controller (in particular the "Ultimate mode") is for you: (1) Do you want a "faster car", and (2) In your current driving, do you frequently find your accelerator pedal flat on the floor. If your answer is "yes", followed by "no", then what you actually want is not necessarily a faster car, but a more responsive car! This throttle controller has greatly improved the drivability of my car, giving it a much quicker and more aggressive response when pulling away or initiating an overtake. The throttle controller does not increase power though, so after the initial reaction, the acceleration becomes limited by the engine. On my Alfa Romeo 159, I personally found U-3 mode sufficient for improved everyday driving, and U-6 good for spirited driving. U-9 is a little extreme, inducing wheelspin in my car a little too easily.
