Got 2 cups this year for my 6 & 4 year old grandkids & I. One of the caterpillars was too tiny, didn’t make it & one couldn’t get out of the chrysalis so wings were not properly developed. Didn’t make it as well . But all the others were beautiful & we released to kids amazement!

I brought this to do a caterpillar to butterfly lifecycle project with my son. It took about 3 to 4 weeks for the caterpillars to transform into butterflies. Once they became butterflies, I release them in the park. It is a great activity to do with young children.
